A buggy cover has to have a cover, right? Of course. So, I made one to match. - equipped with draw strings. Easy to travel with. :)

Shoes for Emma
A friend at work has a grandbaby named Emma. She's really sweet, too. I think she's a month younger than Bennet. Emma's auntie found these cute red shoes at etsy.com. She thought they would be perfect holiday shoes. They looked very similar to this pattern I found once on Martha Stewart's site. I did a little search and found them again. Hooray! I printed the pattern and made the shoes. However, the shoes came out to 4 inches long. Hmmmm. . . I'm not sure if they will be too small when the holiday rolls around. Bennet's feet are about 4 inches right now. So I wanted to have a backup plan. No problem, right? I made the pattern bigger until the shoes were 5 inches long. Then, I sewed the shoes. I got a good laugh when I was done. They were like clown shoes for babies! Maybe, it's just me. :( Oh, well. I will give them both to my friend.
Buggy Cover
I also made Bennet this shopping cart cover. Yipee! She will look like she's sitting in the middle of a flower! Plain green fabric and pink paisley. I love paisley! Who is that cute doll? That's Mandy. She was my sister's doll when we were younger. Mom crocheted that cape for Mandy. I rescued her from Dad's house recently. She had a dog bite injury. So sad. She's all fixed up now. I can't sew like Mom did, but I try my bestest. I miss Mom! I know she is always watching over us! I love you, Mom!

Shoes to Match
Bennet is my sweet niece. I love her to death. She is just absolutely adorable!
A couple of weeks ago, I made her this sweet little bubble. I was so proud of myself. It's the first clothing item I've made. I take that back. I made my husband some pj pants a week before that - they fit like tights. Nice, right? I got a good laugh. Maybe I can wear them. I guess the bubble was the first complicated thing I made. It turned out pretty good, I think. Anyway, this week, I found a pattern for these adorable shoes. I used the left over fabric to make some shoes. I think she's still a little small for both, but hopefully soon. :)
