So Thankfu!

This Thanksgiving, we are thankful for family, good health, good food to eat, and so much more! We had a fantastic Thanksgiving. First, we went to John's mom - equipped with a smoked turkey and two roasted chickens. There was so much food, she sent us home with a whole tray of homemade stuffing - her stuffing is the best! Then we went home and roasted a turkey for the dinner with Auntie's family. Bennie, along with Mama and DaDa, Daaaaannnnnn, and Popeye showed up a little early so Auntie could play with Bennie - pictures included. The pics from the playground and mall were from the previous day. So many good memories! Bennie has grown up to be so sweet, smart, kind, and so much fun! 19-months old already!

Poor Baby!

My little niece Bennie has a big boo boo! Nursemaid elbow - I think that's what it's called. To make matters worse, the doctor sent her home with a yucky boring nude colored wrapped splint. What?!?!? Good thing she had plans to visit Auntie Kim and Uncle John this weekend. Luckily, Auntie had some sparkly bright colored velcro and some felt to spice it up. Much better! What do you think Cutie? Do you love it?

Happy Birthday To You!

Check out her mad unwrapping skillz!

Ballerina Bennet Turns 1!

One year already? I can't believe it. Seems like only yesterday that I baked that monkey cake for Phuong and Jeremy's baby shower. Wow!!! Happy Birthday, my beautiful little niece!
Her party was circus themed since her favorite toy is a little seal balancing a ball on its nose. Auntie made an attempt to replicate. "A" for effort? He came out a bit lumpy (jumbo rice krispie treat); however, he was quite yummy! Her smash cake was suppose to be a replica of her plastic orange coin toy. What do you think? Not quite, I know. Auntie's plan B? . . . Yep, special edition Trix. Bennet loved it! Yea!!! Oh, yes, there were strawberry and poundcake cupcakes, too. Circus themed cupcake wraps and photo frame from Michaels. I love that place!

Went With Another Favorite

Auntie finally found the place to change the backgroud, but looks like the layout of the picture was not horizontal and I cannot figure out how center it. So, I now have another favorite pic of Sweet Bennet in a pretty yellow onesie. However, Auntie still has to show off your pretty pose in the outfit I made.

Yippee! It finally fits!

Auntie is so excited, Sweet Bennet! You look so beautiful in the outfit and the bow is a perfect accessory. Looks like Auntie is going to have to change the background for the blog - as soon as I can find that little tab . . . . maybe . . . .

Shoes for Aiden

These are for Aiden, my friend's little boy, who is turning the big "1" in one and a half weeks. Nicole has been busy the last six months prepping for this day. :) His party is all ready to go - or so I've heard.

I know - one monkey appears happier than the other. I tried twice to make the other monkey just as happy, but no luck. Just sign of homemade-ness. :)

I hope they fit. He is super adorable. Maybe he and Bennet can have a play date some day. So sweet!

Not a Craft. Just a Sweet Pic.

I found this pj set for my Sweet Bennet. PB&J. He he he! I got this pic in an email just the other day and had to post it to the blog for everyone to see how adorable she is - all three of my blog followers! Yippee!

A Craft from Bennet to Auntie?

Yes, indeed! I knew my sweet niece was born with mad crafting skillz. Dad and I got to the house before Phuong and Bennet arrived and was greeted by a surprise - a craft for Auntie from Bennet. How sweet! I heard she had been working on it all week. ;) Thanks so much. I love it.

Bennet's First Pair of Shoes!

Auntie made these shoes while waiting for Sweet Bennet to arrive. That was a long day, but well worth the wait. I am so happy to see you wear them. See you soon Baby Girl! Love, Auntie.
